Incredible Years Group Leaders, We wanted to update you with some new
developments at Incredible Years. We have some new programs and new
research to tell you about.
But first we hope you are all enjoying doing your groups and are working towards certification. Let us know if there are any questions we can answer or help with that process.

New Research
We have had two new papers accepted for publication. One paper regarding the effects of the parent program in public schools and another regarding the impact of classroom Dina and teacher training.
Incredible Years in the News
Incredible Years featured in Clinical Psychiatry News
The wealth of
research on the Incredible Years makes it a true public health
prevention intervention.

New and Revised Parent Programs
Our School Age Basic Program was fully updated and revised in fall
2007 and now includes vignettes for children up to age 13 years. This
program is being used in a study in UK and we are pleased with the
feedback so far.

Advance Program was also updated and revised and now has more on problem
solving with teachers as well as family meetings.

The
new Babies and Toddlers Programs. These programs were just released
in January 2008 (PAL) and February 2008 (NTSC) and we are excited for

The Preschool Basic Parent Program. This
program is being finished
and converted to DVD. We hope to have it available in March.

All Programs on DVD
We have been working to get all our programs converted to DVD. Now our
sample sessions are on DVD for both the parent groups and for small
group Dina and classroom Dina. These DVDs show actual groups working
from beginning to end and include a manual for self-study. They are very
useful for group leaders, teachers and therapists in learning how to
deliver the program.
